Juvederm Treatment in NYC

Lift, plump, smooth – and enjoy natural-looking results that last with Juvederm at our NYC medical spa.

Juvederm is a filler or sterile gel developed using the Hylacross technology to allow for a smoother, malleable gel. The gel is made of hyaluronic acid. The word “acid” may sound intimidating, but hyaluronic acid is not harsh or damaging at all. In fact, it’s the exact opposite. Hyaluronic acid is a natural sugar found in the skin. It works by holding in water at the injection site, acting as a cushioning agent. Since the acid in Juvederm is developed through biosynthesis, you don’t need to take an allergy test prior to the FDA-approved treatment. They do not contain animal or human DNA, and have the best safety profile compared to other fillers. Each product in our NYC Juvederm collection adds lifts, plumps, and smoothens different areas of the face, including the cheeks, lips, and parenthesis lines.

How Long Does Juvederm Last?

Juvederm provides six to twelve months of correction for moderate wrinkles, such nasolabial folds, marionette lines,  lip enhancement, and non-surgical rhinoplasty. Juvederm Voluma provides up to 24 months of correction.

Juvederm vs. Other Fillers

There are a number of available dermal fillers on the market, but none of them have the safety profile and the consistency of the results of Juvederm, especially when administered by NYC’s very own Dr. Leslie Gerstman.

Ready to Restore Your Youthful Glow with Juvederm?

Note: After receiving dermal filler injections, you will be able to resume daily activities. Some patients experience swelling, bruising and other temporary side effects that typically last for the first 2-3 days. Dermal fillers produce desired effects for anywhere between 6 months to longer than 12 months, depending on the treatment method, so that skin can look and feel refreshed.
